The Diversified Planning, Design & Engineering group was established in 2009 as a complement to our successful and growing electric utility construction operations. The “PDE” group is comprised of industry professionals with extensive knowledge and history supporting electric utilities and their project needs. Our team specializes in working within the transmission and distribution space ranging from 4kV to 230kV project voltages and is experienced in all facets of a project from scoping and planning to full on overhead reconductor rebuilds, wood to steel conversions, overhead to underground conversions, cable replacements, voltage cut-overs, fusing upgrades, circuit modernization and fire hardening.

 

The PDE team is on a mission to become the strongest Planning, Design & Engineering group in the west and to continue to deliver the highest quality and most cost-effective projects for our clients and community. Our team is comprised of a diverse group of over 50 individuals including engineers, planners, designers, drafters, construction managers, project managers, industry analysts and safety professionals. Our team has completed the planning, design and engineering of over 10,000 distribution & transmission poles and approximately 150 miles of reconductor in the last year.

The DUSI PDE team is structured to deliver an experience with every project we work on. We assign executive/management level sponsorship, a dedicated POC, technical lead, project manager and QA/QC staff to support the core resources supporting the scope of work and deliverables. Our approach ensures a seamless partnership between our team, our clients and all of the project stakeholders. This results in a superior product delivered on time and within budget.
