Diversified has been supplying quality distribution, construction and maintenance services for more than a decade. We have replaced more than 12,000 distribution structures for Southern California Edison. Nearly half have been composite structures in inaccessible terrain in the Southern Sierra Nevada Mountains. Our employees are experts in composite structure installations and inaccessible work location construction projects. All of this work has been done safely, on time and within utility company budgets.
Diversified has also converted aerial distribution to underground systems. In addition, we have automated over 4,000 distribution line switches in overhead and underground systems. Other services include circuit patrols, storm damage assessment and emergency repairs.
Our employee base includes dozens of highly qualified personnel to respond to emergency and natural disasters. We can assess distribution line damage, marshall resources and material and make repairs as necessary.
Diversified contracted to supply designers, construction coordinators, material management personnel and line crews for the nineteen-million dollar Bark Beetle Project. This FEMA project in the San Bernardino National Forest was a multi-year project involving several mountain resort communities. Several thousand poles were installed to replace tree contacts supporting service lines to mountain homes and businesses. In addition, hundreds of deteriorated poles that carry sub- transmission, distribution and low voltage systems were replaced.
